Duties:

• Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently, reporting findings to the Garage Manager
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles
• Conduct comprehensive inspections to assess vehicle safety, reliability, and performance
• Adhere strictly to Health & Safety protocols and quality standards during all work activities
• Keep detailed records of work performed and communicate effectively with team members and customers when necessary
• Support the continuous improvement of workshop processes and service standards

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications such as IMI/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be advantageous but are not essential; strong ''time served'' experience on a variety of repairs, including clutches and cambelts, is highly valued
• Valid UK driving license with minimal points
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality vehicle repairs in a busy workshop environment
• Strong team player with excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Motivated to meet targets and contribute to the overall success of the workshop
• Candidates with a Class 4 MOT licence or willing to undergo training in this area will be considered favorably
