Finance Manager Hampshire Hybrid - ideally 3 days per week in the office PermanentAn opportunity for a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and effective financial controls.Working alongside the Director of Finance and Management Accountant, you will take ownership of month-end reporting, financial processes and team development within a varied role covering PandL, balance sheet and regulatory reporting.Key Responsibilities:Oversee financial operations, policies and procedures.Manage month-end close, including general ledger, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.Maintain the fixed asset register and manage revenue recognition and intercompany reconciliations.Support monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.Manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity.Oversee statutory reporting, tax filings and quarterly VAT returns.Drive improvements to financial systems, controls and processes.Provide financial guidance to stakeholders and ensure accounting compliance.Support and develop the finance team.Manage grant and RandD claims alongside Group Tax and support annual audits.Key Skills and Experience:Degree qualified.Strong understanding of VAT and financial reporting.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Experience managing financial processes and competing priorities.Desirable:ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW ..... full job details .....
