Finance Systems Accountant - Swindon - Hybrid Finance Systems Accountant Head Office - Swindon Hays Senior Finance are partnering with a high street giant who are looking to recruit a Finance Systems Accountant to join the financial accounting team based in Swindon, with hybrid working. This role plays an integral part of Finance, operating and maintaining the core finance systems in support of finance processes and reporting cycle across the UK and internationally. This is a great opportunity to drive and participate in the delivery of change plan projects and continuous improvements across the business. Accountabilities of the Role: • Management of an Assistant Finance Systems Accountant. • Responsible for owning the day-to-day maintenance and operation of core finance systems (including E5 and DIDOS) in support of the finance processes and reporting cycles including system reconciliations, data integrity and liaising with third party software vendors as required. •Actively contribute to the system separation projects to ensure a full understanding of each system post separation of two businesses• Provide systems support to the finance community, including the use of complex queries involving data interrogations across systems using front end queries and back-end SQL queries. • Lead and participate in the delivery of project related activities with Finance, IT and third parties including new initiatives. • Ensure that system / data controls / processes meet the requirement
