Accounting Manager

Gravitiq is building the leading omnichannel consumer health company. We acquire, build, and scale top beauty, health and personal care brands from e-commerce platforms to retail channels and beyond to help individuals globally take better control of their health.We are looking for an experienced ACCA/CPA/CA Qualified Accountant to join our Finance team as an Accounting Manager. This role requires working in our office in London (Hammersmith) with a flexible working from home schedule.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS as required.Oversee group intercompany reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of variances.Coordinate with external auditors and ensure audit requirements are met on time.Coordinate with tax consultants to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance across jurisdictions.Maintain and monitor group chart of accounts, ensuring accounting consistency across subsidiaries.Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and assist in group-level tax filings.Contribute to the enhancement of internal controls, policies, and procedures.Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and new accounting standards.Perform other ad hoc tasks as required by Management.Qualifications and Skills:Qualified Accountant is mandatory.Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to multi-entity or group-level accounting.Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS and consolidation principles.Proficiency in Xero/ERP/accounting systems.Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial reporting and analysis.High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred:Experience in a multinational or fast-growing corporate environment.Exposure to group audits or due diligence.Big 4 experience is highly desirable.Strong interest in the e-commerce and healthcare sectors.The job presents fantastic growth opportunities, with the chance to take on more responsibilities and contribute towards the wider Finance function of the business as you demonstrate your ability and grow in the role.Competitive payJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
