We are seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor (BOHS P402) to carry out surveys within domestic properties.This role involves inspecting residential properties, identifying asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), and managing the process through to safe removal, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and council requirements.You will play a key role in protecting residents, contractors, and the wider public by ensuring asbestos risks are properly identified, assessed, and controlled.Key ResponsibilitiesConducting Management and Refurbishment and Demolition (RandD) asbestos surveys within occupied and void domestic propertiesIdentifying, sampling, and assessing asbestos-containing materials (ACMs)Producing accurate, detailed survey reports in line with HSG264 guidanceLiaising with Council, tenants, and contractors to coordinate survey access and worksManaging and overseeing the safe removal of asbestos, ensuring works are completed to required standardsAppointing and liaising with licensed asbestos removal contractorsReviewing method statements, risk assessments, and plans of workConducting site visits to monitor removal works and ensure complianceEnsuring all works comply with Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012Maintaining accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposesProviding clear communication and reassurance to residents during works
