Solutions Architect - Contract (Hybrid | Financial Services)
Location: Leeds Industry: Financial ServicesContract Type: 6-month contract outside IR35 with hybrid working. Candidates must be available to start immediately. Pay: Circa -550 per day Outside IR35
Working exclusively with this client, we are looking for a highly capable Solutions Architect to lead and shape technology delivery for a major financial -focused initiative. You''ll be responsible for designing data aggregation solutions that seamlessly integrate internal systems with third-party suppliers and client platforms-helping financial institutions create more transparency and value in their service offerings.This is a hands-on architecture role with high visibility, requiring both technical depth and strong communication skills. You''ll act as the bridge between business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring that systems are secure, scalable, and in line with both internal standards and external regulatory frameworks.

• Design end-to-end solutions that aggregate data from multiple sources and connect with external suppliers/clients
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology to align architecture with strategic objectives
• Engage directly with suppliers and clients to ensure seamless integration and technical onboarding
• Review, recommend, and implement system interfaces, security frameworks, and integration patterns
• Produce architecture documentation that supports development and operational teams
• Support technical governance and compliance efforts across the programme lifecycle

• Candidates will have significant Solutions Architecture experience in financial services, ideally pensions.
• Proven knowledge of data aggregation techniques, API integration, and data transformation
• Strong familiarity with third-party interfacing and working with external vendors
• Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks

• Effective communicator with a pragmatic and collaborative mindset
