This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator or someone with a manufacturing background looking to develop their skills within a well-established engineering business. Responsibilities of an Night Machine OperatorCharge furnaces with scrap metal and raw materials for melting.Monitor and maintain molten metal at the required temperatures.Take metal samples and carry out temperature checks as required.Remove impurities through slagging operations.Pour molten metal accurately into treatment ladles.Assist with crane operations and material handling when required.Carry out routine maintenance and preparation of equipment for the next shift.Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all health and safety procedures.Experience of an Night Machine OperatorPrevious experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing, foundry, engineering, recycling, or heavy industry.Experience operating machinery within a production environment.Overhead crane experience would be advantageous.Strong commitment to workplace safety.Good communication and teamwork skills.Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn. ..... full job details .....
