Location: Cambridge (Hybrid) Salary: 48,000 + on-call pay Type: Permanent, Full-timeWe are working with a global technology business based in Cambridge that is expanding into the UK market and looking to hire Application Support Engineers to join their growing global support team.This is an excellent opportunity to work in an international environment, providing application support to a global client while developing your technical and problem-solving skills.The RoleAs an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for business-critical applications. You will work closely with customers to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and integration issues while meeting agreed SLAs.Key responsibilities include:Providing application support via ticketing systems, email, and phoneTroubleshooting and resolving application and integration issuesManaging incidents and service requests within defined SLAsInvestigating complex technical issues with a structured, analytical approachDocumenting issues, resolutions, and support processesParticipating in a rotating on-call schedule (evenings, weekends, and holidays)Required QualificationsExperience supporting Windows workstation and server environmentsExperience with web technologies and environments, including browsers and IISWorking knowledge of SQL Server and database-driven applicationsStrong general computer literacy and application usage skillsAbility and willingness to travel domes
