We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in structural engineering / structures delivery to lead and manage multi-million pound capital projects across the council''s portfolio.

This role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure and structural schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with council priorities, statutory requirements, and community needs.

• Lead the delivery of large-scale structural and infrastructure projects (e.g., bridges, highways structures, public realm, buildings, or civil structures).
• Manage the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, and handover.
• Ensure projects meet time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.

• Act as the primary interface between the council, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Engage effectively with internal departments, elected members, residents, and external agencies.
• Prepare and present reports, briefings, and updates to senior leadership and committees.

Working hours:

• 37 hours a week min
• Monday to Friday
• Weekly Pay
• Hybrid - Mainly from Home
