The role is integral within the power distribution and renewables sectors, involving high voltage responsibilities and coordination of temporary works, ensuring the reliable transmission and distribution of energy across the UK.Key Responsibilities:Acting as the Authorised Person for high voltage operations, including 400Kv and 132Kv networksPerforming duties of a Temporary Works Coordinator, ensuring safety and complianceConducting inspections and maintenance of National Grid and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)Leading and supervising high voltage projects, ensuring successful and timely completionEnsuring all works adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirementsLiaising with project managers, engineers, and field teams to coordinate and manage site activitiesProviding technical expertise and support regarding high voltage systemsMaintaining comprehensive records and preparing detailed reports on activities and incidentsJob Requirements:Experience in high voltage operations, particularly with 132Kv to 400kv systemsCertification as an Authorised Person in high voltage Natiional Grid systemsPrevious experience as a Temporary Works CoordinatorUnderstanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)Strong knowledge of power utilities, power distribution, and renewables sectorsExcellent communication and leadership skillsWillingness to
