Duties:

• Servicing and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles, including trailers, generators, and welfare units as a Fleet Technician
• Diagnosing faults accurately and executing repairs efficiently
• Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Attending breakdowns in the supplied company van
• Conducting preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Supporting other equipment operationally, including trailers and generators
• Keeping precise records of work undertaken using workshop management systems
• Assisting colleagues and sharing technical expertise
• Ensuring all work is performed to industry standards and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fleet Technician or similar role with comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems
• Mechanical qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or higher
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working with a variety of tools and repair techniques
• Experience working on commercial vehicles, trailers, or plant equipment is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload
