The work involves development on Nordic chips, interfacing with comms protocols (BLE, MQTT, GPRS) for telecoms, security, surveillance and robotics related products. ROLE: Embedded Software Engineer LOCATION: Cheltenham SALARY: up to 65k Skills required for the Embedded Software Engineer are: Embedded C Microcontrollers (ideally TI/Nordic/ARM) Comms protocols (MQTT, BLE, GPRS) Design for safety-critical or harsh-environments C++ / Python skills would be beneficial Although they can offer some flexibility around working hours (start/end times), the work must be done on-site with the rest of the team.
