Pertemps South Midlands Driving Hub is recruiting Class 1 Drivers for ongoing store delivery work based in Northampton.No silly o'clock starts. Regular ongoing work. Straightforward store deliveries with a transport team that knows what they're doing.If you're an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for regular work, decent start times and no nonsense, this could be the opportunity for you.

 

🚛 What will you be doing?

You'll be delivering palletised goods to retail stores, completing store deliveries safely, professionally and on time.

✅ Store deliveries

✅ Vehicle checks and defect reporting

✅ Delivery paperwork

✅ Following driver hours and WTD regulations

✅ Providing good customer service

✅ Mastering the art of arriving on time, only to hear, "We'll get you on a bay shortly mate."


 

👌 Who are we looking for?

You'll need:

✅ Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence

✅ Driver CPC Qualification Card

✅ Digital Tachograph Card

✅ Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience

✅ No more than 6 penalty points

✅ No CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements

✅ Professional and reliable attitude

✅ A healthy level of patience when someone disappears to find the one pallet you're actually waiting for
