Key Responsibilities of the Senior Design Manager: Manage the design process from inception to completion, through the RIBA Plan of Works including producing design proposals, managing the tender process, and overseeing the construction phase Lead design team and sub-contractors ensuring design meets project requirements and standards Prepare and monitor design programs, ensuring deliverables are met and project timelines are maintained Responsible for design compliance, build ability, efficiency of design and supporting the bid process. Responsible to lead the sign off of documents to the correct status Identify and mitigate design risks, including health and safety and financial risks.
