IT Infrastructure Engineer We''re looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of day-to-day IT operations and infrastructure support across a network of distribution sites and depots. A key part of the role is that the successful candidate must also be able to step up in the absence of the IT Manager if they are away from the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong infrastructure professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment, keeping business-critical systems running securely and efficiently, and driving continuous improvement. You''ll provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support while helping maintain and enhance a broad range of infrastructure technologies, including networking, virtualisation, server infrastructure, storage and disaster recovery. You''ll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider IT projects, develop automation solutions and deputise for the IT Manager when required. Key skills and experience Extensive experience in 1st, 2nd and 3rd line IT support and incident resolution. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop, server and enterprise infrastructure. Strong Active Directory and identity and access management skills. Experience administering VMware virtualisation and Citrix environments. Strong Cisco networking knowledge across LAN, WAN, wireless, switching and routing. Experience supporting SQL databases and enterprise applications.
