SEN Tutor
Prospero Teaching have a number of exciting opportunities for experienced education professionals to provide 1:1 tuition to young people in Chichester and the local area. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to learners who need additional support.As a Tutor, you will:Deliver tailored tuition sessions to learners with SEN, SEMH, trauma-related needs, or those at risk of permanent exclusion (PEX).Plan and prepare sessions that are structured, practical, and paced appropriately.Build positive relationships and provide a safe, supportive learning environment.About you:At least 1 year of experience in UK schools in roles such as: TutorTeacherCover SupervisorTeaching AssistantELSA1:1 SupportAbility to plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons.Empathy and resilience when working with learners with additional needs.Position -TutorContract or position start date - ASAPContract or position end date (if applicable) - N/AFull time/part-time - VariedHours - Various/ flexible hoursEssential and Desirable Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young peopleExperience of working with learners with SENTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:Hold right to work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide references upon requestPossess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
