We are seeking a part-time Litigation Solicitor for a full-service legal practice based in North Somerset, not far from the historic City of Bath. This law firm are dedicated to providing the highest quality legal advice and expertise for their clients, but in a way that’s far friendlier, more accessible and clear-talking than you might expect from a law firm.

You will be joining a department that is headed up by an exceptionally experienced Partner who is wanting to mentor and impart his knowledge to a proactive, forward thinking Solicitor who is organised with their caseload and in contacting clients, an individual who is always one step ahead and making an impact within the team and wider company.

Clients include; individuals, major national companies and local authorities, you will be expected to be able to advise on:

Contractual disputes

Boundary disputes

Subsidence claims

Property disputes

Personal injury claims

Coroners inquests

Professional negligence claims

Contesting wills and probate

Complaints about local authorities

Investigations on behalf of Local Authorities

Complaints to the ombudsman

You need excellent interpersonal and time management skills and have a keen approach to business development as well as being proficient in IT skills.

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with experience, for the right candidate.
