Senior Clerk of WorksWest London / M4 Corridor Hours: 35 hours per weekWe are working with a well-established, multidisciplinary built environment consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Clerk of Works to fulfil inspections on residential projects across the M4 Corridor and West London.Alongside managing your own projects, you will also support the development of junior colleagues and help maintain consistently high standards across the wider Clerk of Works service.Senior Clerk of Works Role/ResponsibilitiesUndertake regular inspections of construction projects.Monitor and report on project progress, quality and workmanship.Produce high-quality professional reports supported by clear photographic evidence.Verify that works comply with contractual drawings, employer''s requirements, warranty standards and Building Regulations.Identify and raise defects, discrepancies and quality concerns.Take ownership of defect trackers within site visit reports.Proactively obtain updates from site teams and ensure defect records remain accurate and current.Manage and undertake snagging, de-snagging and end-of-defects-liability-period inspections.Maintain project records in line with internal filing systems and quality assurance procedures.Support junior colleagues with their professional and technical development.Senior Clerk of Works SkillsStrong experience inspecting residential new-build or refurbishment projects.Excellent knowledge of building construction processes ..... full job details .....
