Key Job Activities: Maintain horticultural features on green infrastructure, Parks, Housing and Highways land Prepare and maintain sports features, including artificial surfaces Maintain hard landscape features, including buildings Develop new hard and soft landscaping features Operate and maintain hand and mechanical specialist equipment used in the maintenance of features. Drive and operate a tractor Prepare and apply chemicals e.g. herbicides, fungicides, insecticides etc Keep sites clean and tidy Provide advice and support to customers using the facilities Complete routine paperwork Report any issues identified to the Team Leader Carry out other miscellaneous duties associated with the role Experience Experience in either horticulture or groundsman ship Experience of working directly with customers Experience of using horticultural specialist equipment and chemicals Qualification in horticulture, groundsman ship or ecology Formal training in horticulture, groundsman ship and/or ecology Knowledge of Health and Safety issues relating to area of work and HASWA Valid driving licence ..... full job details .....
