This working on both an early and late shift, which rotates every 2 weeks. Hours: Early Shift 7:30am to 4:00pm. Late shift: 1:00pm to 10:00pm - A shift premium is paid after 4.00pm when working on the late shiftMonday to Friday Welder Fabricator Key responsibilities:Perform MIG welding to produce high-quality welded componentsCarry out stud welding as requiredFabrication work including assembly, grinding, tack welding and finishingWeld materials and components at thicknesses from 1.0 mm up to 12 mmRead and work from engineering drawings and specificationsEnsure work meets dimensional and quality tolerances, carry out inspections and basic repairsMaintain a clean, safe working area and follow health and safety procedures Essential skills and experience:Proven experience in MIG welding in a metal fabrication environmentHands-on experience with stud weldingDemonstrable ability to weld accurately on thicknesses from 1.0 mm to 12 mmStrong fabrication skills and experience with metal assembly and finishingAbility to work to drawings and tight tolerancesReliable, punctual and able ..... full job details .....
