Are you a Civil Engineer with 2-3 years'' experience looking for your next opportunity with an established engineering consultancy?

We are working with a respected civil and structural engineering consultancy seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Liverpool office on a permanent basis.

The business delivers a diverse range of projects across residential, educational, commercial and industrial sectors, with a particular focus on high-rise and inner-city developments across Liverpool and Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer looking to develop their technical skills, gain exposure to challenging projects and progress towards chartership within a supportive engineering environment.

The Role

You will be involved in the design and delivery of civil engineering packages across a range of developments, working closely with clients, architects, structural engineers and other project stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

• Producing drainage design and detailed engineering solutions.

• Undertaking flood risk assessments and supporting drainage strategies.

• Designing and coordinating Section 278 highway works.

• Liaising with local authorities and understanding their technical requirements.

• Supporting the delivery of civil engineering packages on high-rise and urban developments.

• Preparing technical reports, drawings and design calculations.

• Coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver practical and compliant engineering solutions.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Approximately 2-3 years'' experience within a civil engineering consultancy.

• Experience in drainage design and flood risk assessments.

• Knowledge of local authority requirements and approvals.

• Experience with Section 278 works and highway design.

• An interest in high-rise and inner-city development projects.

• A relevant civil engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

• A desire to progress towards Chartered Engineer status.
