Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader. Local council is looking for an experienced Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader, to manage and carry out repairs within their Social Housing section. You should have experience of managing and completing repairs especially, maintenance of voids, together with managing contractors. Duties include:- Dealing with complex cases such as decants or disrepair and minor adaptations in voids. Assist in the management of our in-house voids team and external contractors to deliver a high-quality void / decant service. Oversee the end-to-end process of repairs management and adaptations in voids. Manage contractors. Required Experience:- Experience of managing maintenance and contractors. You must be able to drive and have a suitable vehicle to use. Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, basic property surveying techniques and SOR codes Relevant maintenance related social housing experience.
