This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team of approximately 15 employees, manufacturing high-precision components for a diverse range of industries.The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, producing high-quality precision-engineered components to exact customer specifications. The role offers the opportunity to work with modern twin-spindle, Y-axis machinery and utilise both online and offline programming techniques.Experience within aerospace manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential.Job OverviewProgramme, set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision-engineered componentsProduce accurate, high-quality components to engineering drawings and customer specificationsCreate new CNC programmes from customer drawingsPlan production methods, selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures and machining strategiesCarry out online and offline programming using Fanuc controlsMake offsets and minor programme adjustments to maintain component quality and optimise productionProgramme and set machines to achieve efficient cycle times and maximise productivityManufacture and modify jigs and fixtures where requiredRead and interpret detailed engineering ..... full job details .....
