Job Title: Mechanical Designer Location: North West England, Cheshire, ChesterJob Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Aerospace and AviationSecondary Industry: EngineeringJob Duties: Develop and analyse robotic concept solutions.Perform complex simulations on loads, stress, fatigue and manufacturability.Perform GDandT analysis to design, build and test prototypes.Design mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic 2D and 3D models.Generating manufacturing drawings, BOMs and other documentations.Develop tests, perform failure analysis, and solution validation for product development.Contribute to the functional analysis and the collaborative definition of the requirement specification.Design systems under safety and quality standards for in-house CE Mark certification.Validate and ensure the advanced maintenance of the deployed systems.Build a strong technical expertise to steer development and integration of robotic technologies in aerospace. Required Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Demonstrated experience in mechanical design within the aerospace or aviation industry.Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
