Complex Needs Teaching Assistant – Lewisham

Salary: £85 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term

GSL Education is recruiting for a compassionate Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex medical needs in a special school in Lewisham.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support for pupils with high-level needs.

• Assist with mobility and communication, ensuring inclusive learning.

• Support teachers in delivering differentiated lessons for individual students.

• Help create a nurturing and safe classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working with students with PMLD or complex needs is highly desirable.

• A caring and patient nature with a passion for helping others.

• Knowledge of medical or physical support techniques (PEG feeding or hoist training is advantageous).
