Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Cook and Chef to work on a temporary basis with our clients based in Hockley, BirminghamHours: 10am - 6pm Days: Monday- FridayEnhanced DBS needed - we can process Working byself you will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals for upto 20 residents, with a strong emphasis on fresh produce.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook lunch and evening meal for the residents.Oversee food production and cookingMaintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.Order and manage food supplies to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise waste.Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any issues for repair.Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies.Qualifications:GNVQ / NVQ LEVEL 2/3 Food HygieneExtensive knowledge and working experience of Food Allergens Benefit:Competitive salary of 16.25phRegular working hours from Monday to Friday.Opportunity to contribute to the well-being and nutrition of the residentsAlong with these roles we have other positions available which would suit candidates looking for regular full time hours or part time hours to fit around other commitments.
