Qualified Teaching Assistant - SEMH Primary Provision
Aspire People is proud to be working in partnership with a high-quality primary Alternative Provision that is expanding and opening a new site. The school is now seeking a Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.This specialist primary setting supports children who have been excluded from mainstream education and pupils with SEMH and additional needs, offering small class sizes and a highly personalised approach.About the Role:Supporting pupils in small primary class groups (maximum 6 pupils)Working closely with the class teacher/tutor to support learning and behaviourProviding academic, emotional, and pastoral supportSupporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategiesDelivering small-group and 1:1 interventionsContributing to individual support and behaviour plansThe Ideal Candidate Will:Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualificationHave experience supporting children with SEMH or complex needsBe confident managing challenging behaviourBe adaptable, nurturing, and consistent in their approachThrive in a structured, relationship-led environmentWhy This School?Supportive and experienced leadership teamClear progression routes (HLTA, specialist roles)High-quality CPD and specialist trainingStrong focus on staff wellbeing and collaborationThis is an excellent opportunity for a TA looking for stability, progression, and purpose within a specialist primary setting.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Edu
