Woking | £43,056 + Overtime + 34 Days Holiday + Company Vehicle & Fuel Card + Pension | Full-Time, 40 Hours Monday–Friday | Permanent

Are you an experienced Electrician with strong testing, inspection and fault-finding skills and a background in property maintenance?

A well-established property maintenance organisation is looking for a reliable and motivated Electrician to join its team in Woking. You will carry out a varied mix of domestic and commercial electrical repairs, testing, installations and maintenance work across the local area.

This Electrician role would suit someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, works well independently and provides a professional service when dealing with residents and customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical testing, inspections and certification.
• Diagnose faults and complete reactive electrical repairs.
• Undertake domestic rewires and general electrical installations.
• Complete electrical works associated with kitchens and bathrooms.
• Install and maintain domestic electrical heating systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and make situations safe.
• Maintain accurate job records, including photographic evidence where required.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• Hold City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent – essential.
• Hold current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Have completed AM2.
• Demonstrate 2–5 years’ experience in social housing, property or building maintenance.
• Possess strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Live within approximately 20 miles of Woking.

Experience working within schools, universities, museums or similar public buildings would also be beneficial.
