We re recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing engineering business developing innovative clean technology for the global maritime sector. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects designing advanced propulsion systems that reduce fuel consumption and emissions across commercial shipping.Hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the office in Southampton for team collaboration.The Role As a Senior Design Engineer, you ll take ownership of key mechanical systems, leading designs from concept through to manufacturing release. You will be heavily involved in 3D CAD design, producing detailed drawings, and ensuring designs are optimised for manufacturability, cost, and performance.You ll work closely with internal teams and international suppliers, resolving design challenges and ensuring a smooth transition into production.
