About the Role We''re supporting the hire of a Production Operator on behalf of a growing advanced manufacturer producing high-precision composite components for medical, automotive, defence and aerospace sectors. This is a hands-on, varied role working across different stages of a modern manufacturing process, from preparing mould tooling and operating robotic spray systems, through to curing, material testing and quality checks. Yes, the process involves some technical-sounding steps, but don''t let that put you off. If you''re comfortable in a production or manufacturing environment and you''re the type of person who picks things up quickly and takes pride in doing a job well, you''re exactly who we''re looking for. Full training will be provided across all processes, equipment and quality systems. You don''t need to have done this before, you just need the right attitude and a willingness to learn. What You''ll Be Getting Involved In You''ll rotate across different areas of the production process, so no two days are quite the same. Over time, you''ll build up skills across: Composite Manufacturing Preparing mould tooling ready for production runs Loading moulds onto spindle equipment for automated processing Operating and monitoring pre-programmed robotic spray systems Managing fibre feed during spray operations Removing finished parts from moulds and completing tool cleaning Loading and unloading curing ovens and monitoring oven cycles Installing inserts into components
