September 10, 2025Our client is looking for a Site Manager to work on a new project just outside of Reading. This project will be working on high - volume housing developments.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager. The role will suit someone that wants to work for a residential developer. You will need to be a career-driven individual who is looking for a Site Manager role with a company that have great stability.You will need to have impeccable communication skills, as the client is seeking an individual that is able to talk to sub-contractors and key stakeholders within the business.The Role:Manage the day to day running of the development and provide clear direction to those working on the construction site regarding their responsibilities and targets.Manage and implement health and safety procedures, working closely with Bellway Health and Safety Managers and ensure that that all aspects of health and safety are followed and adhered too.Motivate, support and manage directly employed site staff, providing toolbox talks, training, coaching, and support as required to improve performanceEnsure site presentation is always maintained at the correct standardDeliver all aspects of production requirements in strict accordance with relevant technical and planning documentation provided and any subsequent instructions that may be necessary from time to timeFully conform to building regulations and warranty provider''s requirements (NHBC, LABC Services).Ensure accurate production/progress returns are updated and sent to the Construction Manager and/or Construction Director as requestedEnsure that adequate site records are maintained including but not limited to Site Managers reports, labour requirements, plant, materials, site inductions and health and safety records.Thoroughly inspect and ensure any remedial work is completed in advance of each NHBC key stage inspectionAbout the Company/Client/Project:The client is an award-winning company that has been building communities across the South Coast for several decades.Their business is focused around Reading.Requirements including certificates and qualifications:GCSE Maths and English - Grade C or above (or equivalent)Valid SMSTS certificateValid First Aid certificateConstruction Management - HNC Level 4, HND Level 5 or NVQ Level 6 is desirableValid Scaffold Appreciation certificate is desirableValid LOLER certificate is desirableWhat you will receive in returnSalary (+ company car allowance or company car)Pension contributionStable project pipeline in the regionCandidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
