Up to £43,000/ 42.5 hours/ Travel minus ½ hour each way, anything 20 miles or further door to door/ 21 days + banks/ 1 in 13 call out - £100 standby/ Overtime x1.5/ van & fuel card/ healthcare after 3 months
 
This is an opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join a service & maintenance division for a well-established family business that’s been working in the industry for over 30 years.
The engineer will be responsible for Service & Maintenance on a variety of commercial properties including some of the below

• Schools
• Council contracts
• Community Centres
• Leisure Facilities
• Care Homes

 
Responsibilities & Roles – Servicing, Maintenance & Reactive works

• To undertake the maintenance and repair (not including commercial catering) ensuring all relevant qualifications are held to carry out the required duties.
• To carry out reactive tasks
• This role will cover various contracts throughout the region
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports

Qualifications and Experience:
• Fully qualified commercial gas engineer with Gas Safe accreditation - CODNCO1,CDGA1 , CIGA1 , CORT1 , TPCP1
• OFTEC/LPG are advantageous
• At least 5 years'' experience in a similar role.
• Experience working on a wide range of commercial gas systems.
• Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
 
Package:
Up to £43,000 basic

• Working hours 42.5 hours per week 
• 21 days holiday + bank holidaysHalf hour each way to be given and anywhere beyond 20miles from home paid door to door.
• Call out 1 in 13
• £100 stand by
• Over time rate x1.5
• Van and fuel card + private use
