Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

Harris Lord Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join an established and busy distribution business.

This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

• Receive, check and store incoming deliveries.

• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.

• Safely operate counterbalance and Bendi forklifts.

• Handle and store products in accordance with safety procedures.

• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory checks.

• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.

• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.

• Experience working with chemicals, hazardous materials or dangerous goods is essential.

• Good understanding of safe storage, handling procedures and emergency protocols.

• Valid counterbalance forklift certificate.

• Proven practical experience operating Bendi forklifts.

• Strong attention to detail and a reliable, safety-conscious approach.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
