Project/Delivery Manager - Bioinformatics Platform

Duration: 12-month contract

Location: Bracknell/Remote (Hybrid)

Rate: (INSIDE IR35)
- circa. -37 per hour (PAYE) / -51.70 per hour (Umbrella)

SRG are partnered with a leading client within the Agriculture industry to source an experienced Project Manager to assist the business for a 12-month contract. This role, a Delivery Manager, will involve administrating and overseeing a successful implementation of a Bioinformatics Platform. The client is seeking someone who has experienced handling complex projects and liaise with multiple teams, functions, and external parties.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

Operate as the central orchestrator, harmonizing diverse initiatives and ensuring their alignment with the overall project vision and organizational goals

• Facilitating collaboration between internal and external teams
• Managing high-level project timelines, coordinating with sub-initiative leaders on their specific deliverables
• Ensure that the administrative aspects of the project are managed efficiently, including contract management and budget
• Suggest and implement project management practices and standards
• Proactively identify and raise dependencies, risks, and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary

Skills & experience required

• 3+ years of experience in delivery management
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, hybrid)
• Expertise with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Mural, Smartsheet)
• Workshop orchestration and facilitation skills
• Strong stakeholder management abilities
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience in contract management
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and software development processes
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
• Experience in life sciences (preferred)
