This role involves assisting with the safe and efficient handling, positioning, and installation of mechanical infrastructure, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with site safety protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall mechanical components including pipework, brackets, supports, and ductingOperate plant equipment (FLT, scissor lift, cherry picker) to transport, position, and install materials at height or in confined spacesInterpret mechanical drawings and layout plans to ensure accurate installationAssist with assembly and alignment of mechanical systems and equipmentUse hand and power tools to complete mechanical tasks safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with site safety standardsFollow all health and safety protocols, including safe use of lifting equipment and working at heightSkills and ExperienceProven experience in mechanical installation or utilities workCompetent in operating FLT, scissor lift, and cherry picker (valid licenses/certifications required)Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentsStrong understanding of manual hand
