Drylining Estimator

Location: Midlands (Office-based)
Salary: -55,000 -65,000

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established interior fit-out specialist with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality drylining, suspended ceilings, SFS, partitions and interior finishing packages across the commercial construction sector.

With continued growth, a strong pipeline of secured work and long-standing relationships with leading main contractors and developers, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Drylining Estimator to strengthen its pre-construction team.

The Role

As Drylining Estimator, you''ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a range of commercial projects, working closely with the commercial and operational teams to secure profitable new business.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Measure and price drylining, ceilings, partitions, SFS and associated interior packages.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Obtain and assess quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and the internal project delivery team throughout the tender process.
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings when required.
• Support successful handovers to the commercial and project teams following contract award.

About You

You''ll already have estimating experience within drylining or interior fit-out and be confident pricing projects from first principles.

Ideally you''ll have:

• Proven experience estimating drylining and interior fit-out packages.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
