Resident Support Manager

• Pay rate: -22 per hour PAYE
• Temporary until January 2027
• Location: North London Region
• Hybrid working: Officer, face to face and home working
• Areas Covered: Slough, Essex, Reading, Maidenhead, Hounslow, Hertsmere, Ealing, Buckinghamshire, Brent & Bracknell Forest

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Resident Support Manager to support residents facing financial, housing, wellbeing and tenancy-related challenges.

Working across home, office and community settings, you will manage a caseload of residents, providing face-to-face support, advice and advocacy to help them overcome barriers and sustain their tenancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete support assessments and create action plans.
• Provide advice on benefits, budgeting, grants and income maximisation.
• Support residents at risk of rent arrears or tenancy issues.
• Advocate on behalf of residents with external agencies.
• Assist residents with employment, wellbeing and fuel poverty concerns.
• Work closely with housing teams and external partners to coordinate support.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage a varied caseload.

About You

• Experience supporting vulnerable residents or customers.
• Knowledge of welfare benefits, housing or tenancy support.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage complex cases and work independently.
• Experience working with multiple agencies and support services.

Additional Information

• Enhanced DBS required.
• Regular travel across the region is essential.
• Hybrid role combining home working, office working and face-to-face resident support.
• Occasional out-of-hours work may be required.
