A Permanent role with Salary up to circa £60,000 + benefits (negotiable by experience) Our client, a leading name in the utilities and engineering sector, is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing Design Department. You ll play a key role in developing, monitoring, and maintaining a standardised approach to electrical design, ensuring consistency and quality across multiple projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys technical design leadership, collaboration, and delivering innovative solutions across a range of utility and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities: Undertake LV/HV electrical network design solutions for domestic housing, commercial and industrial developments. Obtain DNO/IDNO design approval for tailored design solutions including power distribution earthing. Prioritising workflows, ensure high quality network designs and projects are completed accurately and delivery on time. Liaise closely with utility infrastructure organisations and equipment manufacturers, working closely with stakeholders for projects. Engage with Gas and Water Designers to coordinate the delivery of multi-utility /domestic housing and commercial design projects.
