SEN Teaching Assistant

ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis in an SEN Primary School in Southam on a full-time basis.About the role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support to students with special educational needs during lessons and activities.Your primary responsibility is to offer tailored support to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential within the school environment.Implementing individualised learning plans, promoting student engagement and independence, and maintaining regular communication with parents, careers and outside professionals. Helping the student with communciation, social interaction, and emotional regulation.Assisting with behavioural management strategies and sensory needs.Supporting academic tasks by breaking them into manageable steps.The role is on a full-time basis with the possibility to be ongoing for the right candidate.
