The role is a full time, Permanent role and the salary offered is £43500pa, with duties of out of hour call outs on a rota basis. Please note, a full UK Driving licence, would be required. Closing date for Applications is 18th November, 2026 The Role To deliver safe, compliant, and effective electrical maintenance, repair, and installation services across the College, while supporting general building maintenance activity. The postholder will maintain accurate records for planned maintenance, inspections, and statutory checks, ensuring that electrical systems, utilities, plant, machinery, and equipment remain safe, operational, and compliant. Key Responsibilities Electrical Services Carry out electrical maintenance, repair, and installation work across College buildings independently and in accordance with statutory requirements and the current edition of the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). Inspect, test, and maintain electrical installations and equipment, including fixed wiring, lighting, sockets, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and associated electrical plant. Diagnose electrical faults and undertake repairs, rewiring, circuit maintenance, adaptations, and replacements as required.
