Job description: Male Mental Health Support Worker Location Runcorn, Cheshire £12.21 per hour Role Description Male Mental Health Support Worker Gray Healthcare are recruiting a Mental Health Support Worker within the Runcorn area of Cheshire to support a male in his 30s who has a diagnosis of Psychosis and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) The male we support lives independently in his own home receiving 1:2:1 support 24 hours a day. He has a good sense of humour. His interests include swimming, walking and cycling. He has an interest in astronomy. He likes to play video games on his PS5 or XBOX and enjoys watching Warrington Wolves Rugby team in person with his family or on the TV. He is supported by a male only team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights We are recruiting drivers only for this role as the individual we support will have a mobility vehicle to access the community. Support Worker Required Skills and Experience Full UK Driving License Essential. Social care experience, ideally within Psychosis, Autism, Learning Disabilities and with some experience of supporting individuals with mental health needs such as anxiety. Experience providing encouragement to a person with complex health needs. Experience supporting individuals with behaviours which may be considered challenging.
