About UsFounded in 1997, GamCare is the leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms. We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.

The RoleAs Head of Press Partnerships and Engagement you will shape the national conversations surrounding gambling harms, through the development of sophisticated parliamentary and government relations and securing high-impact media engagement that maximises awareness of GamCare’s services.

You will establish GamCare as the authoritative voice on gambling harm through expert media positioning, covering national and specialist media, and implement a parliamentary and government relations programme that strengthens GamCare''s position with key decision-makers.

You will be leading a specialist team, working at the intersection of politics, press and purpose, ensuring a seamless integration between media narratives, high-value partnerships, and strategic stakeholder influence that will shape GamCare’s external presence at the highest levels of government, media, and industry.

About YouYou will bring substantial expertise across parliamentary/government relations, strategic partnership development, and media relations.

Your experience will include developing parliamentary engagement strategies and partnership frameworks with measurable outcomes, and strategic media relations that secure high-profile coverage.

Most importantly, you will demonstrate the ability to balance focus across parliamentary/government relations, strategic partnerships, and media engagement in order to drive real change.
