We are currently recruiting for a full time, temp to perm HGV Class 1 Shunter at our site in Ferrybridge.Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding and Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.What you''ll do on a typical day: Duties will be to move trailers around the site ensuring they are in the right place at the right time, assist in load strapping and securing where necessary.Play a key role in our site team ensuing our operation runs as smoothly as possible; team player is a must.Ensure you are operating in line with health and safety standards and following site rules What you need to succeed: Experience in a similar driving/shunting role is highly desiredA Full UK driving licence (with CandE entitlement), held for a minimum of 12 monthsNo more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR endorsements.Flexibility with working both days and afternoons to cover would be advantageous.
