SEN Teacher - Specialist School, Bristol

The Role
Every day is different as an SEN Teacher! You''ll design creative, engaging lessons tailored to students with Autism, ADHD, and complex learning needs. By adapting your approach to suit individual strengths and abilities, you''ll help each child achieve their best.
You''ll work closely with a dedicated team of teaching assistants, therapists, and parents, making sure every student feels valued and supported. Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating every achievement, big or small, will be at the heart of your teaching.
What We''re Looking For
- QTS (or equivalent) with experience supporting students with SEN.
- A positive, patient, and adaptable teaching style.
- The ability to think creatively and bring learning to life.
- Strong behaviour management skills, with a focus on encouragement and de-escalation.

Learning Mentor - Alternative Provision
(Full-time or Term-time Contracts Available)
We are working in partnership with an Alternative Learning Provision that supports young people who are not currently in full-time mainstream education. This setting provides tailored one-to-one mentoring, learning sessions, and enrichment activities to help students overcome barriers and successfully transition back into a suitable educational pathway.
We are looking to appoint Learning Mentors who can build positive relationships, inspire confidence, and deliver engaging learning opportunities. This is a rewarding role for individuals who are motivated by making a real difference in the lives of young people.
The role would suit:
- Qualified Teachers looking for opportunities outside the traditional classroom
- Higher Level Teaching Assistants ready for a new challenge
- Creative and passionate individuals keen to be trained in delivering alternative learning, including through the ASDAN curriculum
What''s on offer:
