This is a full-time, permanent position within the Transport Department of a leading UK generator hire company. The successful candidate will support the Rental, Sales and Service teams by delivering and collecting generators and associated equipment from a wide range of customer sites. Duties and Responsibilities: Safely deliver and collect generators and associated equipment from customer sites. Operate a variety of vehicles, including 6- and 8-wheel rigid lorry-loaders, drawbar trailers and tractor units with flatbed trailers. Load and unload generators and associated equipment at the depot and customer sites. Start generators on delivery, connect fuel tanks and carry out initial checks. Provide customers with basic operational guidance where required. Deliver fuel to customer sites using fuel tankers or 4x4 vehicles with bowsers. Check equipment against paperwork and ensure all loads are correctly and securely positioned. Assist customers with cable management when required. Carry out basic equipment maintenance and cleaning duties. Maintain vehicles and working areas in a clean, safe and organised condition.
