Electrical Field Service Engineer (Inspection & Testing)

Inverurie (Scotland Patch)

£38,000 - £42,000 + Van + Overtime + Training + Progression

Are you an electrically qualified Engineer with experience in inspection and testing, looking for a hands-on field role within a growing company that values attitude, training, and long-term development?

In this role, you will carry out electrical inspection, testing, installation, and maintenance across customer sites. You’ll work on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, supporting essential infrastructure while working closely with customers and internal teams.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer or Service Engineer with inspection & testing qualifications, who is happy working in a hands-on environment and looking for a long-term career with progression.

The Role

• Carry out electrical inspection, testing, and installation work
• Service, maintain, and fault-find on electrical and mechanical systems
• Work on wastewater and pumping equipment across customer sites
• Complete service reports and liaise with customers on-site
• Field-based role covering Scotland (based in Inverurie)

The Person

• Electrical qualification (18th Edition or C&G 2391-52 preferred)
• Electrical bias with some mechanical understanding
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working in wastewater / industrial environments
• Full UK Driving Licence (required)
