A specialist fire safety consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their team in Edinburgh. The successful Fire Risk Assessor will work across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and public-sector properties throughout Edinburgh and the wider Central Belt.The Fire Risk Assessor''s RoleThe appointed Fire Risk Assessor will carry out detailed fire risk assessments, identify areas of concern and provide practical recommendations to help clients meet their fire safety responsibilities.Responsibilities will include:Undertaking comprehensive fire risk assessments across a range of property typesReviewing fire safety arrangements, means of escape and compartmentationIdentifying hazards, deficiencies and compliance issuesProducing clear and detailed fire risk assessment reportsAdvising clients on remedial actions and fire safety prioritiesReviewing existing fire safety documentation and management proceduresLiaising with building managers, property teams and contractorsManaging site visits and workload across Edinburgh and surrounding areasThe Fire Risk AssessorThe successful Fire Risk Assessor will be required to have:Level 4 qualification in Fire Risk AssessmentStrong experience delivering fire risk assessments independentlyGood knowledge of current UK fire safety legislation and guidanceExperience across residential, commercial or complex buildingsExcellent report-writing and communication skillsConfidence dealing directly with clients ..... full job details .....
