We\''re working with a civil engineering contractor to recruit a

Plant Operations Manager . This role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to coordinate people, equipment, and processes in a fast-paced environment.You\''ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of internal and external plant hire operations, ensuring clear planning, efficient utilisation of assets, and smooth collaboration across teams. Supporting the Plant Manager, you\''ll play a key part in driving operational improvements, supporting compliance, and managing both internal and external supply arrangements.Responsibilities

Coordinating daily plant hire operations, minimising downtime and duplicationMonitoring utilisation, investigating losses/damages, and driving improvementsSupporting compliance, toolbox talks, and departmental communicationsLine managing stores and hire teams, with oversight of fleet/workshop functions when neededDeveloping supplier agreements and supporting stock control for better cost efficiencyQualifications
