Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and growing organisation based on the outskirts of Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance experience who is looking for flexibility alongside a varied and hands-on accounts role. The location is not easily accessible by public transport, therefore applicants must be able to drive.-

Working as part of a supportive finance team, you will assist with a range of accounting and administrative duties, ensuring financial information is processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase invoices and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records.
• Raising and processing payments.
• Producing sales invoices in a timely manner.
• Resolving purchase and sales ledger queries.
• Assisting with finance administration and ad hoc duties as required.
• Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.

About You To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

• Previous accounts or finance experience.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• A positive and proactive attitude.
