TeacherActive is working with a welcoming primary school in Sheffield looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. The school is seeking someone with the right attitude, a genuine passion for education and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

• Supporting pupils in class and through small group interventions.
• Providing 1:1 support where required.
• Encouraging confidence, independence and a love of learning.
• Working closely with teachers to create a positive classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND where appropriate.

• Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Is warm, patient and approachable.
• Has excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Has a genuine passion for supporting children''s learning and development.
